STUDIES IN INVASIVENESS

Picture
installation view Studies In Invasiveness, 2017 at Honfleur Gallery
Materials: Paper Mulberry tree branches, an invasive species growing along the Anacostia River (color of the stick is the natural result of being boiled and stripped of bark to make paper), old dictionary pages, desk, wood, paint, plastilina.

In this installation, viewers are invited to sit at the desk and reflect on the theme of invasiveness.
